About Dance House

Dance House is a family owned and operated business that Michelle Fitterer started out of her parents shed in Alhambra, IL in the fall of 2003.  After four very successful years of dance and tumbling in Alhambra, Dance House had outgrown the two room shed.  The studio then made the leap to the newly remodeled 7300 sq ft building in Highland, IL in the summer of 2007. In 2021 Dance House relocated to a newly remodeled 4,000+ sq ft building at 208 Pine St. in Highland (where we are currently located).

Dance House offers classes in dance and tumbling for recreational through competitive teams, ages 3-18.

We hold our classes on Mon-Thurs evenings, as we try very hard to reserve the weekends for family time.  We have an annual Recital in the spring.

What makes Dance House unique is our staff, and our teaching approach.  We are mostly comprised of family and consider every teacher, student, and parent an extension of our dance and tumbling family.  Our approach is that to learn anything well, the foundation must be strong.  Our talented teachers have a great way of bringing out confidence and ability in all of our students.
